ECSC: Day 1

We arrived in Virginia Beach today for the East Coast Surf Championships. All I can say is that its super hot, the waves are supposed to be getting big, and people are getting loose. We had some dinner, then went across the street to see Alex Knost's band, Tomorrows Tulips and Andrew Doheny's band, Party Theft play. Everyone is having a blast. Andrew Doheny made it through four heats today. He forgot his trunks so he had to rock his boxers, classic! So we'll continue to see how Andrew does in the comp, and Joel Tudor's Duct Tape Invitational starts up on Saturday!
