Hurricane... But you can call me Slurrricane

We just got home from Virginia Beach, and I'm sure it starting to get pretty gnar there from our girl Hurricane Irene. We hope that no destruction will happen, and that everyone will be alright. We had some good days before she came to town, hitting the pawn shops with Droid, Mat surfing with the boys over in design, sending Dylan into the booth with Stanfield. Those are the classic memories I hold true from Virginia Beach. Next up on the docket, The Duct Tape Invitational is to be held at Surfrider Beach, Malibu sept 10th & 11th.

Norway Now, Hurricanes Later

Our team leader, Scott Sisamis took Tanner & Dane Gudauskas, Nathan Florence, Daniel Russo & the man known only as Number 3 on a norwegian adventure. So we'll get some sporadic updates from them. Meanwhile, I'm in Virginia Beach for ECSC (which is gorgeous this time of year) with Dylan Graves, Andrew Doheny & Shea Lopez. Oh wait, did I mention there was an earthquake here today, and a hurricane is headed our way. So we got that going for us.

France is holding the cards

Today was the nicest day of weather we've had since we've been here. The sun came out, waves rolled in, everyone went surfing. Tomorrow we say goodbye to France, and head to Spain. The Duct Tape Invitational starts on friday, so stay tuned for more updates from Team Blanc!

Heartattack & Vine

4,000 miles from LA, three days of rain, left Biarritz for a day of Spain with our friend Adur. Got some fun waves in Zarautz, and then some tapas. Now we're back in our hotel room with our other friend Tom Waits. Team Vino Blanc is on a roll!

Session at Log Cabbins! The whole Vans crew was down on the beach hanging out, watching some shredding going down. Anthony Van Engelen was even down on the beach!

Troy Elmore is our underground longboard street cred team rider. He got so stoked on our boy Pele, that he decided to go to battle on one himself. Go Troy!

Rocky Point

Another Day of super fun waves, the boys are cleaning up with video content! A couple more days of free surfing before the start of the O'Neil World Cup of Surfing at Sunset Beach. The World Cup starts November 24th live on the Vans Triple Crown Webcast! And in the meantime, Dane is still going after that Judo Air, Kalani Chapman was destroying lips, and Shea Lopez even snuck out for a couple waves! SF - Giants Win!

After the Cold Water Classic I cruised up to SF to see some friends, and watch the Giants Game. We had a surf at Linda Mar (aka Taco Bell Beach, yeah, there's a Taco Bell on the sand.) It was super cold, but really fun. Then hit the city for some food, and to watch to game. They won, so we hopped in the car and rolled down Mission St. It was going off. People with flags and horns and t-shirts, it was a scene for sure. Some enthusiasts took it upon themselves to show some love for their city. Go Giants!
